No Comments - Fitness Magazine: FitnessX Magazine, Exercises ...

Written By: BillyBow Aguirre, CEO/Publisher

?

Ladies ? Let?s talk about nutrition and exercise.? The summer is coming to a close.? In the months before, we were building our beach body.? A lot of us fell short.? We went on those nice vacations and ate all that delicious food in Hawaii or in Europe on that amazing cruise and didn?t think about our nutrition and exercise.

I have to say, I?m guilty too.? Yes ladies, the publisher of FitnessX Magazine does struggle just like you.? Occasionally, I like my cheat meal and I should spend more time in the gym.

l have an amazing person in my life ? Kat Painter, the Owner/Publisher FitnessX Magazine.? She?s an example to me.? Kat gives me tips and helps me with my nutrition and training.? When I go to the gym, I train with Kat.
I try to follow her routines to the best of my ability.

I?m the chef in the house.? So I cook eggs, beef, chicken, fish, green vegetables, quinoa, brown rice, wheat spaghetti noodles, salads with oil and red wine vinegar.? We buy our food from Trader Joe?s, Fresh & Easy, 99 cent Store, and farmer?s market.? Eating healthy is not expensive.

What I?m saying is, we need mentors in our life ? People to help us with our goals in health and fitness.? Do your best ladies.? Effort is EVERYTHING!? You get what you put forth in life.? So, challenge yourself and enjoy the outcome.? I?m cheering you on to victory!

Inspiring YOU to Live Well?Naturally,
BillyBow Aguirre, Publisher of FitnessX Magazine.

Movie of the Month ? Food for Thought

It opens on the new girl and her first day of school.? Cady (Lindsay Lohan) has been living in Africa, which as we all know is really a much more sanitized version of Mutual of Omaha?s Wild Kingdom.? Now her family has moved back to America and she?s forced to make the transition from lifelong home schooling to a public high school riddled with cliques and teenager clich??s.? At first she?s ostracized and thus makes friends with a pair of castoffs who?ve fallen prey to the school?s most powerful clique, ?The Plastics?.

The Plastics? are shallow hot chicks who follow the lead of the sexiest and meanest girl in school, Regina George (Rachel McAdams).? But Cady is pretty, which of course means life is easy for her, and soon she?s sitting at ?The Plastics? table under the guise of getting even for all her castoff, less pretty friends who?ve been ground under the very spiked heels of Regina George. Soon she starts to like her newfound popularity power and Cady isn?t just undercover, she?s a full on Plastic, complete with burn out grades and enjoyably short skirts. This sets off a bitter power struggle between Regina and Cady, in which the object is humiliations galore.

What moral can we draw from this movie?? Don?t be fake and plastic.? Be a role model.? As Tina Fey said in the movie, ?You need to stop talking trash about each other.?

The? fitness industry? is no different from this movie.? It is filled? with very beautiful women.? It doesn?t matter what affiliation, clique or group you are a part of ? you can end up being like the plastics.? Grow up, life is bigger than us.? Become a peacemaker, be a volunteer, and? be courageous to stand up for the truth.

This industry is full of vanity and superficial people.? Stay humble, stay loving, stay caring, and always remember where you came from. ?

Real friendships come with a cost and don?t talk bad about you behind your back.

Remember true friends help you, love? you, look out for you, build yourself esteem and mentor you.?? That?s Food? for thought!
